Cute Pictures

Hi Everyone! Not much going on around here. We did take Payton to the Dog park for the first time on Sunday, but in all the chaos I didn't get a chance to pull out my camera. Someday I will elaborate on the dog park experience, (why do some people have to get so upset when your dog wants to play with their dog? It's a dog park! They should be able to do what they want!) but I'll save that for another blog. Let's just say the dogs had a blast. Some of the humans needed to take a "chill pill"! Anyway, since I don't have much to report I thought I would share some cute pictures of the girls. Top to bottom this is Taryn, Kylie, and Payton. I think these are about the best pictures of them individually. Still waiting for that killer group shot.

Mark and I are celebrating Valentines day today since I will have to work tomorrow night. We are going to our favorite Sushi restaurant, Japon. It is such a fantastic restaurant. We usually only go there for our special occasions because it is easy to walk out of there with a $100 check. Sometimes the bill gets so big because our eyes are bigger than our stomachs and we end up with a sushi doggie bag. Sushi is not very good the next day, so it is a real treat for the dogs. Taryn has had the pleasure of sampling sushi, but it will be a first for Kylie and Payton. I'm sure they will dig it just as much as Taryn does. Have a good Valentines Day everyone!

Peace,

Jamie

Hey Labbies and People, Wow! Three of them. I only have half a lab, but she's pretty great. Nice to meet all of you.

Ladies! Nice to meet you. I saw you on Sophie's blog. I also just (finally) got my blog in January.

I am getting a little black labradude puppy for myself in just 11 days! Momma said that after a bassett hound, an airedale, and two mastiffs, she wanted a "normal" dog (whatever that means).

Do you think I will like the puppy?

Hi Mango,
Nice to meet you too! Taryn, our oldest girl, thinks that you will like your new little dude alot! He will need some help learning the rules of the house, but I'm sure you are up to showing him the ropes. He will also want to play and chew on your ears, cheeks, nose, tail, legs, and basically anywhere he can find some loose skin (looks like you have a bit!). Have fun and be patient, he will be a good little bro!

Peace,
Jamie

Hey gals, momma made me watch this instructional video so that I would know what to expect when the Dexter dude comes home.

See Mango...
This video is exactly what I said Dexter would do when you meet him. Just keep telling yourself how cute he is and that puppydom doesn't last forever!

Peace,
Taryn

Ladies, I did not want you to think I was playing favorites, so I added you to my list of pals as

Three Labragals

Hope that suits you.

Silverfoot Collars & Red Dingo ID tags. Two of my favorites for my Labradors.

I love it when fashion meets function!!

Sunshine,
Thanks for the compliment. You tipped us off on the Red Dingo ID tags, what a great find! They are beautiful and durable and we couldn't believe that they were only a few dollars more than the cheapies at the pet store. We found the Silverfoot collars at REI but now buy them on Silverfoot's web site because they have a larger selection. The girls have the matching Silverfoot leashes too. I figure a dogs collar, tag, and leash are it's only opportunity to make a fashion statement and my girls like to be pretty.
I love the combinations of collars and tags that you picked out for Shelby and Nutmeg. Taryn sported the Silverfoot "wave blue" collar for a while but I think it looks better on Shelby and his gorgeous yellow coat. It's such and appropriate pattern for a water dog like him!

Peace,
Jamie
